The Crazy Horse Memorial is in the Black Hills of South Dakota, very near to Mt. Rushmore. It commemorates the Lakota leader, Crazy Horse, he is depicted riding a horse, and pointing to the horizon. Its construction started in 1948 by Korczak Ziolkowski, and when it is finished, it may be the biggest sculpture in the world! For comparison, the heads of the presidents in Mt.
